Day 91 | Much-needed rest at the Campground
7th September, Saturday
The previous days had been challenging for the both of them, yet rewarding at the same time. Kay had worked hard to design our first ever Newsletter, and they made sure to send it out to families and friends before leaving Meteora. Well, it was a long-overdue project.
So today we decided to put-off our plan of exploring the archeological site of Delphi, but rather enjoyed a relaxing time.
Surprisingly, as Mae went to the pool side, she found a turtle next to it slowly munching the grasses. It seemed like a hard-working one and he has an entire lawn to mow. (Tip: If you can’t afford a lawn mower, perhaps let a turtle do the job)
On the other hand, Kay had found a praying mantis at the male washroom. Nobody really knew how long he’s been praying there. Because when we left the next day, it was still sitting there.
On this day also we met another couple from North Italy, Valentina and Jiacomo, who just finished their Greece tour and now traveling back home. They left us one recommendation for a tracking app, in which Kay has been using now. It’s something that we can compare later on with the Polarsteps that Mae is currently using.
